Following a decade as a high school choral music educator, Accola transitioned to become the talent agent for the Minnesota-based vocal quintet Five By Design. Over the course of a 29-year career, Accola served as the group's exclusive artist representative, booking Five By Design with countless big bands and multiple engagements with 132 symphony orchestras.

Notable performances included the National Symphony Orchestra in Washington, D.C., at the Kennedy Center, a 2012 holiday tour with the Boston Pops along with major orchestras in Milwaukee, Detroit, Baltimore, Rochester, Pittsburgh, Atlanta, Nashville, Naples, New Orleans, Houston, Kansas City, Saint Louis, Kansas City, Phoenix, Denver, Salt Lake City,  San Diego, Spokane, almost every Canadian orchestra, and an overseas excursion to the Bosphorus Music Festival in Istanbul, Turkey.
