First Call

Melodie Tunney, Bonnie Keen and Marty McCall were considered the "first call" jingle singers by Nashville studio producers in the 1980s. 

 

First Call’s 30-year career included 13 projects with Word Records and Warner Alliance. The artists received 3 Dove awards, 5 Grammy  nominations.

Five By Design

The vocal quintet featured Lorie Carpenter-Niskas, Kurt Niska, Terrence Niska, Michael Swedberg, Cathy Scott, and Sheridan Zuther. Over its 29 year career, the artists performed with hundreds of orchestras including Milwaukee, Atlanta, Nashville, Pittsburgh, Detroit, Toronto, Colorado, St. Louis, Phoenix, and the Boston Pops.

Forte A Cappella is Centerville High School’s contemporary a cappella group. Led by choral director Ben Spalding, the ensemble has won numerous awards and filmed a music video with Kirsten Maldonado, vocalist with Pentatonix.

Based in Atlanta, Georgia, Foxes And Fossils is a mix of generations, performing music of Simon and Garfunkel, Todd Rundgren, The Mamas and The Papas, Neil Young, The Supremes and vocal groups of the 60s and 70s.

Fresh Take

Members of the high school class of 2020, Miles Basinger, Quinn Cameron, Tim Barnes, & Nathan White formed Fresh Take. The members are fans of the Four Freshmen and their moniker is a nod to the iconic vocal ensemble.
